The IT service provider help establish the German federal government’s “BIM centre of competence” together with the planen-bauen 4.0 initiative. The project is financed by the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (Bundesministerium für Verkehr und digitale Infrastruktur – BMVI) in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry of the Interior (Bundesministerium des Innern – BMI).

The InVerSiv research project delivers intelligent infrastructure for greater safety in urban traffic. At the conclusion of the project, the IT service provider adesso presents a vision for enhanced road safety in the future.

Visitors will have an opportunity to find out what AI applications can do today and what factors will drive competition in the future at adesso digital day, to be held at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, Germany, on 10 July 2019. The IT service provider will be joined by science fiction expert Dr Hubert Zitt and Martina Voss-Tecklenburg, head coach of the German women’s national football team.

Many companies are considering using artificial intelligence. But only a few AI applications are actually in use. That was revealed by a survey of the status quo conducted by IT service provider adesso.

IT service provider adesso has helped launch a campaign to modernise the construction sector, with the SWARM collaborative project. The goal is to develop the open BIMSWARM platform. The project aims to establish it as a future standard, and thereby support digital cooperation in the construction industry. The project is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

An inter-company team from DekaBank, dwpbank, DZ BANK and Helaba has executed the first completely digital bonded loan issue. The pilot transaction was carried out using the new blockchain platform finledger. In the course of the joint project, the four banks relied on technical support from the IT service provider adesso.

adesso is offering a new marketplace solution for the financial sector in its banking portfolio. The software platform is based on the crowd investing platform from Bergfürst, and was developed in collaboration with the Berlin-based company.

The Jugend hackt programme for young technology enthusiasts starts a Fellowship for sponsoring members. The Fellowship offers companies and individuals the opportunity to support the charitable initiative on a long-term basis. As the first company to sign the contract, adesso insurance solutions GmbH is the pioneering member of the Fellowship.

“We don’t need balls, we have ponytails.” Right now, Germany is applauding its women’s national football team for these very words. In a TV advert for Commerzbank, the German women’s team take on all the clichés, preconceptions and hostilities they face each day with ease, irony and a sense of humour. From social media to local pubs, commenters have been known to call women’s football slow and boring, even going as far as to say that women should be having babies and cooking rather than out on the football pitch. You often feel like telling those loudmouths: “Seriously? It’s 2019!”

The IT service provider adesso and BITMARCK have been working together since 2002. Their cooperation has once again been confirmed by the extension of adesso’s framework agreement, with adesso now continuing to support the largest full-service provider in the statutory health insurance IT market until at least the end of 2020.
