adesso as a service cooperates with Vulnerability Management specialist edgescan

adesso as a service GmbH, the managed cloud and service provider of the adesso Group, and the Irish IT security service provider edgescan have entered into a partnership. adesso as a service now offers services based on edgescan’s vulnerability management solutions.

Through the cooperation with edgescan, adesso as a service has expanded its offering of managed security services to include a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for the detection of security vulnerabilities. edgescan’s SaaS platform continuously scans applications hosted by adesso as a service for weaknesses. The results of the scans are then reviewed by experts. In addition, edgescan’s specialists carry out regular penetration tests.

Security scans of applications are often still performed manually, and are therefore very time consuming and costly. With edgescan's innovative vulnerability management platform, however, this process can be automated. The combination of modern technology and validation by edgescan's experts drastically reduces the number of false positives.
