andsafe, the Provinzial Corporate Group’s digital insurer, was the first company to use the in|sure Ecosphere platform from adesso insurance solutions. Now comes the next step: As a SaaS solution, the platform moves from andsafe’s cloud operation to the adesso Group’s cloud operation. adesso has successfully implemented this operating model for life insurance policies through its subsidiary Afida since 2022. Now, for the first time, it is being utilized by S-Direkt and ProTect in the property and casualty segment.
adesso sees a rapidly growing market for SaaS product offerings, particularly in the area of P&C solutions in addition to the life division. The primary motivation for customers lies in the need for scalability, faster time-to-market, and a focus on enhancing competitively differentiating corporate capabilities.
The SaaS solution realises cost savings for the customer, increases process automation and facilitates entry into new business areas. Another advantage is enormous scalability, without compromising on security. The adesso Group collaborates with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud-based procurement, a model the IT service provider has already successfully implemented with other insurers. The established platform in|sure ecosphere from the subsidiary adesso insurance solutions is also provided.
