IT service provider adesso and Eucon Digital GmbH are entering into a strategic partnership. The collaboration is designed to accommodate the growing demand from insurers for digital solutions to optimise processes. It combines the two companies’ technology and expertise and covers the entire German-speaking insurance market. adesso and Eucon will also be represented on this topic at the Schadenmanagement & Assistance trade show and conference in Leipzig on 18 and 19 March 2025.

More automation, less risk, full cost control: IT service provider adesso sets new standards in insurance policy management. As an AWS Solution Provider partner, adesso now offers its software-as-a-service (SaaS) insurance platform built on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud. The cloud-based SaaS platform in|sure Ecosphere is operated by adesso subsidiary afida. It makes policy management more efficient, flexible and secure. Insurers benefit from significant cost savings and greater efficiency through increased automation.

The IT service provider adesso is now a gold partner of the Austrian CMS provider Sulu. The Digital Experience (DX) division is thus expanding its portfolio to include an alternative open-source CMS (content management system). The flexibly expandable solution addresses the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as public organisations that are looking for a powerful and affordable tool for creating customised digital solutions. IT companies adesso and d.velop are joining forces to drive forward the digitalisation of public administration. To this end, adesso SE – a leading German and international IT service provider – and d.velop AG – a leading European platform provider of software for the digitalisation of document-related business processes – have entered a strategic partnership. The focus here is on the holistic digitalisation of municipalities, authorities and universities.

adesso orange AG has changed its name and is now operating under the name adesso business consulting AG. With the name change, the company is taking a clear strategic step to further strengthen its market position and sharpen its profile as a leading SAP consultancy. In future, the new profile of adesso business consulting will be orientated towards the appearance and design language of the adesso group brand.

adesso wins another major SAP project. The IT service provider is migrating the amedes-group’s existing SAP R/3 ERP system to RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition. A joint team of experts from the adesso Life Sciences business unit and adesso orange, the adesso Group’s SAP consulting company, will be responsible for converting the system. The decision to partner with adesso on this project was made by the responsible parties at amedes after the successful completion of a preliminary project, as well as the Discover, Prepare, and Explore phases, following adesso’s proven active transformation methodology. The planned implementation will take place near-standard over the next few months on the basis of a greenfield approach. The project was launched in January 2025. The new system is scheduled to go live for all companies at the beginning of 2026.

adesso is now an Elite Service Partner of cloud platform provider Snowflake, making it one of the preferred service partners for its AI Data Cloud. With more than 100 Snowflake experts, the IT service provider is currently one of only nine elite partners in Europe.

IT service provider adesso and licence reseller bluplanet have jointly won a major framework contract with DB Systel, Deutsche Bahn’s internal IT service provider. Accordingly, adesso and bluplanet will provide the CRM Suite (Customer Relationship Management) from Salesforce in the form of Software as a Service (SaaS). The scope of services includes the provision of Salesforce licences as well as implementation, services and support relating to the introduction and maintenance of Salesforce. The contract has a term of eight years from 2025 and a maximum total volume of EUR 100 million.

The demand for cloud-based e-commerce solutions is increasing. They empower retail providers to seamlessly scale their infrastructure in line with business growth while lowering the barrier for traditional retailers to enter e-commerce. adesso, one of Germany’s leading IT service providers, and empiriecom, a full-service e-commerce partner within and beyond the Otto Group, are expanding their collaboration beyond product development and implementation. As part of this extended partnership, adesso is integrating empiriecom’s modular, cloud-based Commerce Suite into its solution portfolio, offering it to retail customers moving forward. Postponed but not cancelled: although the national implementation of the NIS2 Directive has been delayed, it is set to become important for all companies in the critical infrastructure sector (KRITIS) in the coming months. In the run-up to the E-world energy trade fair in Essen, IT service provider adesso and IT security specialist Blueteam are now presenting a further developed, cost-efficient Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution. The managed SIEM solution is based on the Wazuh open-source technology and is provided via the BSI C5-certified adesso business cloud. While adesso is responsible for further development, maintenance and operation, Blueteam assumes the function of a security operations centre (SOC) as part of the partnership. The product is now available to companies in all industries.
