adesso at DMEA 2025: Innovations for the digital future of healthcare

From 8 to 10 April 2025, Europe’s most important digital health trade show, DMEA, will take place in Berlin. At the event, experts from politics, science, and in practice will discuss and exchange information about the future of the digital healthcare industry. adesso will once again be represented at the trade show (hall 3.2, stand E-102a).

For over 25 years, the IT service provider has been a digitalisation partner to statutory and private health insurance companies, service providers such as clinics and billing centres, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and providers of software solutions for the healthcare sector.

Visitors are invited to discuss current challenges within the industry as well as solution strategies and approaches with the IT service provider’s experts at the stand. Appointments for specific discussions can be made via the website.

Focus on artificial intelligence, IT security, cloud solutions, and SAP solutions

At its trade show stand, adesso will be focusing on technology topics that are currently of particular interest in the healthcare sector. Last but not least, this includes the topic of “Artificial intelligence in healthcare.” The IT service provider’s experts at the stand will explain how the full potential of artificial intelligence and generative artificial intelligence can be realised so that cost bearers, service providers, and service recipients benefit equally from the technologies.

An additional focus is on the digitalisation of the patient journey: Using the “My UKB” app developed jointly with Bonn University Hospital, adesso’s experts show how an individualised patient app can help guide patients and their relatives through the challenging day-to-day hospital routine.

Additional focus topics include:

  • Cloud solutions in the healthcare sector: How can innovative and data protection-compliant cloud solutions be effectively integrated into existing systems?
  • Privacy and data security: How should IT security and data protection strategies be designed to ensure patient data security and enhance the resilience of critical systems against attacks?
  • SAP in the healthcare sector: What does the future hold for SAP users in the healthcare sector, with regard to SAP S/4HANA among other things or a successor solution for the IS-H med hospital information system (HIS)?
  • Interoperability in the healthcare sector: How can full interoperability with superior, data protection-compliant platform solutions be achieved? And what role will data space services such as HealthTrack-X or sphin-X play in the future?

Another highlight will be two exciting presentations by adesso experts as part of the DMEA trade show congress on Thursday, 10 April, on stage 5.2 in hall 5.2:
