SAP S/4HANA transformation at Uniper - a pioneering project
With adesso, Uniper is the first energy company to go live with SAP S/4HANA Utilities in the market role of supplier - a real milestone in the industry. On 25 November 2024, Uniper successfully switched to SAP S/4HANA Utilities, and we were at their side from the very beginning. The innovative approach made it possible to continue using over 50 per cent of the existing processes through a selective data transition in a brownfield approach. In addition, we integrated tools such as the SAP MaCo Cloud via the SAP Business Technology Platform to ensure future viability and efficiency. With our support, SAP EPM was also further developed at Uniper to enable the upcoming 24-hour supplier changeover. Our solution offers an optimal balance between standardisation and individual process design, so that Uniper not only meets current requirements, but also benefits from a robust, scalable IT infrastructure in the long term.
