To ensure the operation and further development of an outdated, monolithic application for controlling the flow of materials in a highly automated ESP and ABS assembly plant, adesso took over the entire system from an existing service provider for a company in the automotive industry within a year. The challenge consisted of the high availability requirement, the extensive technical modernisation needs and the dependence on a single knowledge carrier.
