Leading light: adesso implements smart cloud CRM at ERCO

IT service provider adesso will be providing lighting manufacturer ERCO with a new customer relationship management (CRM) system in the coming months. ERCO, a leading international manufacturer of architectural lighting, will be equipped with the high-performance new SAP Sales Cloud Version 2. This will replace the on-premises SAP solution previously used at ERCO and link sales more closely with marketing as part of its company-wide digitalisation strategy. The aim is to increase the efficiency and transparency of sales processes and optimise collaboration across divisions. The project was launched in April and is due to be implemented by the end of 2024.

Greater user-friendliness leads to faster success

SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 helps companies to optimise and automate their sales processes. To that end, the solution includes innovations like artificial intelligence out of the box – or immediately usable – in order to speed up standard functions. Following implementation by adesso’s Digital Experience (DX) unit, ERCO will benefit from the numerous advantages of the advanced CRM system. It will help sales staff convert sales opportunities into orders at an early stage across all channels, including social media, via the company’s website, and by email and phone. New leads will also be easier to identify, classify and forward to the right person.

SAP Sales Cloud Suite applications are based on a modern, standardised interface and an app that is ideal for mobile use by the sales force. This will make it easier for ERCO’s sales staff worldwide to access the applications at any time and from anywhere. The seamless integration of the applications into collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook also facilitates company-wide and cross-divisional collaboration.
