The “Rat für Formgebung” design council and the German Brand Institute recognise unique brands and brand makers with the German Brand Award once a year. The institutions are supported by a high-calibre jury of independent, interdisciplinary experts from the world of companies, science, consulting, services and agencies. The “100 years of Em-eukal” campaign came out ahead in a strong field of participants with over 1,300 entries from 19 countries. The jury highlighted that the campaign’s innovative strategy impressively illustrates how tradition and innovation can be successfully integrated. At the same time, the campaign set new standards in brand communication.
The festive award ceremony took place on 13 June 2024 at the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin. Madelaine de Nève, Teamlead Social Media, and Marcel Witczak, Senior Consultant responsible for the campaign, accepted the awards together with Melanie Schneble and Luisa Scheuerbrand from SOLDAN.
