We asked those responsible in German banks how they view the status, the challenges and the advantages of using artificial intelligence (AI). They rated the situation of their industry and their company quite favourably. Here’s an example to illustrate the point:
60 per cent of those surveyed from the banking sector rated their own company’s AI position as “good” or even better. Across all sectors, only 48 per cent gave such a positive assessment.
Artificial intelligence has arrived at banks. Each bank is busy looking at exactly which issues can be addressed in the process. There is still no agreement as to how this should be done. 78 per cent of respondents still see AI as being in its infancy, and clear added values are not always apparent. We’re using our experience to help close this gap.
