In order to use these data for reporting and analysis on the one hand, but also for new operational ideas in the context of "Artificial Intelligence", they were looking for a competent partner to support them in the area of building a data warehouse. adesso was considered a suitable partner to support Career Partner in building a data warehouse.

In the support phase, data from Salesforce and CARE was integrated into the AWS cloud via a data integration tool from Talend. For the Salesforce connection, several APIs had to be connected to implement all the necessary requirements. General architectural foundations were created for the AWS and Redshift architecture, as well as for monitoring and CI/CD pipelines. In the domain of DWH architecture, a data catalog was developed for the systems, as well as Salesforce metadata integrated. Grafana was used for monitoring and AWS S3 for Data Lake.

Career Partner GmbH is one of the leading full-service providers of human resources development and private higher education in Germany. Founded in 2007, Career Partner currently has over 1800 employees. It offers a broad portfolio of training and learning opportunities. These include online study programs under the umbrella of the private and staterecognized international university IU. IU also offers English language Bachelor's and Master's programs, parttime as well as dual study programs at currently 17 locations in Germany.
Customer value
The customer was only able to create limited reports daily due to Salesforce settings. Through DWH, Career Partner can easily create multiple reports, and it is now also possible to create reports from multiple sources such as Salesforce and Care.
When implementing machine learning use cases, there were problems due to unavailability of the abovementioned data sources. After the integration the AI use cases can be implemented without such problems.
