The partnership between adesso and Sulu was initiated in recent months. After initial trust-based collaboration, both companies have now decided in favour of long-term, future-oriented cooperation. Previously, adesso mainly offered the CMS Drupal in the open-source sector. With Sulu, the range is now diversified and supplemented by a system that offers customers an alternative on request. As a gold partner, adesso will work closely with Sulu on future customer projects. Both parties benefit from expanded expertise, shared resources and the opportunity to develop customised solutions.
Enterprise features without licence costs
Sulu CMS is based on the PHP framework Symfony and the JavaScript framework React. The scalable and licence-free solution at enterprise level makes it possible for companies to manage content efficiently via a user-friendly interface and publish this content via various channels. The solution fulfils the tasks of a classic CMS, supplemented by functions for digital experience management, multilingualism and multi-site support. The solution can also be used as a headless CMS. This means that content can be provided via an application programming interface (API) and used in different front ends.
Version 3.0 of the continuously developed CMS will be released over the coming months. Companies using the system will then benefit from features such as a new content storage architecture, which will continue to improve performance and facilitate future expansions. Sulu's developers are also currently working on integrating AI functions.
