More space for “New Work”: adesso holds celebrations to mark its move to the Seetor City Campus in Nuremberg

adesso SE, one of Germany’s leading IT service providers, moved into its new premises at the Seetor City Campus in Nuremberg last June. As an anchor tenant, the digitalisation partner to prominent public and private-sector organisations occupies an entire section of this high-profile area. In doing so, the company is highlighting the relevant role it plays in Nuremberg as a business location and metropolitan region. Thanks to steady customer growth in recent years, the number of adesso staff employed in Nuremberg has increased substantially. Employees from virtually all divisions of adesso SE and its key subsidiaries are now working at the site. The new subsidiary now provides them with significantly larger and more modern office space, workstations and meeting rooms spanning an area of around 4,500 square metres. By expanding its operations in Nuremberg, adesso is laying the ground for further growth in the region.

The previous evening, adesso celebrated the inauguration of its new office together with customers, partners and guests from the worlds of politics and business. This gave guests the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the premises in a relaxed atmosphere. Following a welcome address, Marco Jäger, head of the adesso office in Nuremberg, handed things over to Kristina Gerwert, member of the Executive Board of adesso. In her speech, she explained why adesso was continuing to make specific investments in modern office space and how the company was thus promoting an atmosphere that supports new work models. Sven Sontowski, Managing Director of Sontowski & Partner Group, a property developer and the lessor of the Seetor City Campus, then provided a fascinating overview of the history and concept of the campus. With the official part over, adesso experts provided guests with an overview of the main topics currently dominating the world of IT and business, including generative artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data privacy in the cloud.

High level of appeal for employees and customers

The new office in the Seetor City Campus is located on the banks of Lake Wöhrder, not far from Nuremberg’s main railway station. This central location increases adesso’s visibility and makes it more accessible for customers and employees thanks to its favourable transport links. The IT service provider was given free rein when it came to the interior finishings. This permitted adesso to put its modern “New Work” concept into practice, which fosters a working atmosphere conducive to creativity, communication, and collaboration. A key factor here is the well-being of the company’s employees: a pleasant, comfortable work environment and modern, well-equipped workstations ensure a high level of job satisfaction and motivation among the teams.

“With the move to the new office in the Seetor City Campus, adesso is underlining its growing commitment to the Nuremberg metropolitan region. Thanks to the increased capacity, we have gained additional scope to provide even better support to our customers and partners on site in future,” said Marco Jäger. “We remain true to our corporate values such as team culture, communication, and intensive collaboration. The new premises provide our employees with an attractive, modern work environment and a place where they can meet and share creative ideas in person.”
