adesso supports German automobile companies in the transition to agile software development. The IT service provider explains what really counts.

adesso insurance solutions GmbH has taken over the full business operations of Cologne-based Collogia Trianova GmbH with effect from 31 August 2018. Collogia Trianova has more than 30 employees. In doing so, adesso is expanding its own range of products and services in the field of company pensions and working time accounts, and is acquiring the CollPhir® software solution, which has already had years of success on the market. CollPhir® will be integrated into adesso’s in|sure product family as part of the business merger, which means that the standard software solution for the insurance industry will be expanded to include the additional functions. The former CEO of Collogia Trianova, Dr Michael Höhnerbach, will be a new addition to the management of adesso insurance solutions and will continue to develop services in the field of company pensions, working time accounts and actuarial consulting. A lower seven-figure valuation was agreed upon based on defined conditions.

com2m GmbH, the adesso Group’s specialist for IoT solutions, has created a holistic Internet of Things (IoT) solution together with TRILUX, a market leader in the field of technical lighting. It combines digitally networked lighting fixtures with sensor data to offer innovative digital services for the lighting market.

The IT service provider adesso has strengthened its engagement in the area of e-health by establishing MediOne GmbH. The goal of the new adesso subsidiary is to improve communication in the German healthcare sector by means of a new information and communication network. The MediOne solution is aimed at doctors and their specialist staff, and more generally at medical facilities such as hospitals, care homes and rehabilitation centres, along with physiotherapy and other practices. The new application allows them to communicate securely and easily with each other and patients.

The IT service provider adesso welcomed 16 new recruits yesterday as the new apprenticeship year kicked off. The focus of the 2018 apprenticeship year is once again on the combined vocational training and degree programme in software and system technology, which combines professional training with a degree course at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund. In addition to that, the company is also offering standard training to qualified IT specialists as well as office and event managers.

The IT service-provider adesso has won a Europe-wide tender for an important framework contract from the federal government: the Procurement Office of the Federal Ministry of the Interior (Bundesministeriums des Innern – BMI) has engaged adesso to manage, maintain and develop its electronic tender platform for a further six years. The total contract volume is up to EUR 25 million.

Reto Pazderka will become the new managing director of adesso’s Austrian subsidiary. The 48-year-old computer scientist is coming from CPB Software GmbH in Vienna, where he presided as CEO.

adesso AG has founded a new subsidiary in Spain. With its Barcelona branch, adesso is continuing to drive the internationalisation of its service business. The company already owns subsidiaries in Austria, Switzerland and Turkey. Other foreign subsidiaries are in the pipeline.

Lotterie-Treuhandgesellschaft mbH Thüringen (LTG) – or LOTTO Thüringen for short – put its trust in the support provided by its long-standing IT partner, adesso, during the launch of its new central lottery system. The system with modern functionality now forms the heart of the lottery business at LOTTO Thüringen.

The IT service provider adesso AG has concluded a cooperation agreement in the field of business process management with Berlin-based Signavio GmbH. As the provider of one of the leading software suites for business process management, Signavio will have partner status in selected adesso customer projects going forward.
