Focus on growth and internationalisation - adesso reaches milestone: 10,000 employees worldwide

The adesso Group’s dynamic development is continuing unabated. What began in 1997 as two people sitting around a table has since grown to a team of 10,000. Thanks to the recent expansion, the company has already achieved its growth target for 2023. With over 60 sites around the world, adesso is also pressing ahead with its internationalisation strategy with even greater intensity.

Roz Sabir is adesso Group employee number 10,000. Sabir, who hails from the Netherlands and has degrees in artificial intelligence and IT, previously worked for Apple and the IT service provider to the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security. “adesso is a pioneering force in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital transformation and engineered software solutions,” says the 31-year-old. “I can’t wait to take on new projects and challenges, and am delighted to be part of the adesso network.”

The adesso Group now has a presence in 15 countries worldwide, with seven national subsidiaries being set up in the past two years alone. “We are strengthening adesso’s international position so that the company can become a leading IT service provider elsewhere in Europe, outside of Germany, Austria and Switzerland,” says Dirk Pothen, whose responsibilities as a member of the adesso Executive Board include internationalisation. “As the number of employees, subsidiaries, sites and national subsidiaries increases, we want to maintain and continue to foster our unique adesso culture. That’s a major challenge across international borders, but is certainly something we are tackling together.”
