Another acquisition for adesso: SAP Gold Partner adesso orange acquires IT service provider GORBIT

With the acquisition of Essen-based GORBIT GmbH, adesso orange AG is gaining more than 20 new SAP experts at its location in Essen. adesso orange – a subsidiary of the IT service provider adesso SE – is thereby expanding its user administration and batch management know-how and working towards the achievement of defined growth targets in the long term.

Like adesso orange AG, GORBIT is also an IT consulting and development company specialising in SAP technology. As experts in solutions, tools and consulting services for SAP user administration and batch management, GORBIT also offers proprietary add-on solutions for the implementation of special requirements.

The experts from GORBIT will form a dedicated department within adesso orange that is set to be expanded further in the future. GORBIT GmbH’s managing director, Jürgen Beese, will continue to have a pivotal role and will head up the new competence centre.

For many years, adesso orange – and its predecessor – has maintained a loyal and successful collaboration with GORBIT. Jürgen Beese views this step as an opportunity for his team: “The employees from both companies already know each other well from working on many projects together. It is from this strong business relationship that the idea of an acquisition came about, which offers GORBIT employees promising prospects and development opportunities for the future.”

With this acquisition, adesso orange AG is not only expanding its know-how in user administration and batch management, but also its industry expertise in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
