adesso Top Employer 2025 in Germany for the first time

IT service provider adesso is one of more than 160 companies surveyed nationwide that have been awarded the Top Employers Institute’s “Top Employer 2025 in Germany” seal of approval. This positions the digitalisation partner of numerous private and public organizations as one of the top employers in the German IT industry. adesso particularly impressed the auditors with its outstanding performance in talent acquisition, onboarding, work environment as well as learning and development.

Grow Together

“Grow Together” is adesso’s declared goal and corporate strategy. Career starters and professionals at adesso are encouraged to learn both from and with one another – whether through teamwork, hands-on project work, or internal training programmes. This approach enables employees to grow both personally and alongside the company. According to the auditors of the Top Employers Institute, adesso excels in this regard. They praise the development and growth opportunities for employees as excellent. The further training programmes are also rated as outstanding in this context. adesso also scores above average in the onboarding of new employees. They are thoroughly prepared for their journey at adesso through preboarding and Welcome Days, and seamlessly integrated into the company through targeted onboarding measures. Among other things, they learn about adesso’s “Culture Code”. It sets out the corporate culture as it is practised and aims to strengthen mutual appreciation, openness and helpfulness. The codified guidelines ensure respectful interaction with one another, so that the diverse perspectives of people from different specialist areas and cultures enrich the work in the best possible way.

IT services are people business. The people who work in the company are therefore crucial to adesso’s success. The certification methodology

The annual rating by the Top Employers Institute is based on a comprehensive evaluation of detailed HR best practice questionnaires completed by participating companies. As part of the evaluation process, the auditors carry out a categorisation based on peer groups of similar companies. The benchmarking data for this is based on international best practices. A total of twenty HR topic areas are evaluated, which are summarised in the six overarching categories Steer, Shape, Attract, Develop, Engage and Unite. A minimum score must be achieved in all areas for certification.

The valuable feedback from the independent auditors in conjunction with the feedback from the workforce helps us to introduce targeted improvement measures. This allows us to develop from year to year.”
