adesso increases proximity to customers with four new offices

adesso AG is continuing its course of expansion and is opening four new offices. A new office in Nuremberg has just been launched, and offices in Aachen, Essen and Hanover will be opened later this year. At the beginning of 2017, when the IT provider celebrates its 20th anniversary, adesso AG will have a total of 13 offices in Germany. adesso is also represented in Austria, Switzerland and Turkey with foreign subsidiaries.

With these four new branches in 2016, adesso is opening an unprecedented number of offices in a single year. In doing so, the IT service provider is systematically pursuing its service approach of gaining maximum proximity to customers, and is securing even broader access to qualified IT specialists. All four cities are home to renowned universities and technical colleges that offer courses of study in IT. This allows adesso to position itself as a local, attractive employer for highly educated young graduates.

The new office in Nuremberg, where adesso offers its complete range of services, opened in September. It is based in Tullnau-Carée in the heart of Nuremberg and is close to the city’s Technische Hochschule. The office is managed by Manfred Bögelein, Head of an adesso competence center for banking, and will start with around 20 employees. There are already concrete plans to expand the office. In Nuremberg, adesso will be able to immediately support existing customers locally such as ING-DiBa, Nürnberger Versicherung, ERGO Direkt, TeamBank and the Federal Employment Agency, and respond to the growing demands for IT on the part of banks and public-sector companies based in Franconia.

The new adesso offices in Aachen, Essen and Hanover will open in the fourth quarter of 2016. The Aachen office will be managed by Dirk Platz, Head of Insurance at adesso, and will also start off with 20 employees. adesso already cooperates closely with the Generali Group in Aachen. From its base in Essen, the IT provider will support customers such as BITMARCK, ERGO, ISTA, Rheinbahn, EAA and Deutsche Re. The new office will be managed by Andreas Hitzbleck, Head of Healthcare at adesso. Some 60 employees are initially planned to work there. adesso will open its first office in Lower Saxony in Hanover, where it is already closely involved with companies like VHV, HDI, Deutsche Messe AG, Hannover Re and NORD/LB. Office manager Ulf Jäger will welcome around 20 employees to the premises in Hanover to start with.

“Thanks to our four new offices, we will be even better able to deliver on one of our key commitments to quality – maximum proximity to customers. With our latest expansion, we are, of course, also laying the foundation for winning more new customers locally and for continuing our growth strategy,” commented Mark Lohweber, Head of Banking at adesso. “Due to our local presence, we can also attract qualified IT specialists more directly.”
