adesso Spain acquires Salesforce specialist

The IT service provider adesso is expanding at its new location in Spain. The Spanish subsidiary adesso Spain – established in Barcelona in April 2018 – is acquiring the IT company SunnyTrail Consulting, which is based in Madrid and Jeréz. It offers IT consultancy and development services and is specialised in Salesforce solutions. The acquisition gives adesso a total of three locations in Spain.

The young start-up SunnyTrail Consulting offers companies advice, development services and IT system operation. SunnyTrail is specialised in the provision of products of the US corporation Salesforce.com, an expert in cloud-based customer relationship management applications.

The acquisitions of SunnyTrail’s 10-person IT team fits well with the positioning of the adesso Group, which is active throughout Europe. Since the summer, adesso has been developing its own centre of competence for Salesforce applications in Germany. The purchase of a highly specialised team, which has already successfully carried out international projects, strengthens adesso’s competencies in this area. SunnyTrail also brings customers in the UK, Scandinavia, and Spain with it.

The Salesforce solutions that will be included in adesso Spain’s portfolio help companies network employees, customers and products using state-of-the-art technologies. Commercial uses range from sales, customer service and marketing to application development, digital commerce and community management, along with analytics, Internet of Things and cloud applications. Market analysts like IDC predict that, in the coming years, Salesforce and its network will achieve “huge global importance” – creating jobs and revenue in new business areas.

Miriam Lindhorst, Managing Director of adesso Spain, describes the opportunities for the young subsidiary: “Our goal in Spain is to quickly grow and raise our profile. The takeover of SunnyTrail gives us the opportunity to specialise in a promising market niche, while also helping us achieve an international presence.”

The inclusion of SunnyTrail’s experts in the adesso Group from December 2018 also has additional benefits for the parent company: The new centre of competence for Salesforce in Germany will be able to draw on the acquired specialist’s expertise in its current Salesforce projects, in the scope of transnational cooperation.
