IT projects require defined processes in order to being realized in time and budget. Systems engineering has to be transparent to all participants; all areas e.g. requirements, risks, team, communication and software development management have to be displayed in a result-oriented way. Redundant processes have to be eliminated and the company should not be squeezed into a too firm concept.
By means of our process model “PITPM“ (Pragmatic IT Project Management) we provide a safe ground for the development of an individual systems engineering which takes into account all specific requirements and processes of the company. The productivity in a project and the project’s result is being improved by specifying processes, partitioning them into different phases and disciplines, and making highly integrated templates available. By standardizing the systems engineering and increasing the project’s transparency, members of staff can easily enter a project and take over respective roles.
PITPM was developed on the basis of the “A Guide to the Project Management Body Of Knowledge“ (PMBOK® Guide) of Project Management Institute (PMI®) and is specifically tailored to the means of software development projects.
Based on PITPM adesso provides three major services in this field:
- Contract-related IT project management with alpha or another procedure predefined by the customer, offered by PMP certified project managers (PMIT)
- Optimization of specific project management processes in the customer’s existing systems engineering processes (PMPO)
- Implementation of processes based on PMP®- /PMBOK Guide® (PMMI)
